Where History Still Lives

There is a place on the coast of Maine where history lives. Located on Penobscot Bay the city of Rockland was the center of the lime trade in the early 1900's nearly 300 tall ships called this harbor home at that time.
Today Penobscot Bay is home to nearly two dozen of these historic sailing vessels.  During the spring through fall you can see this living history sailing silently on the blue waters.

Many of these boats are over 100 years old, like the Victory Chimes built in 1900.
