Mercantile Prepares To Get Underway

The coasting schooner Mercantile prepares to get underway in the early light of dawn. It is a drama that takes place every morning through the summer and fall along the Mid-Coast region of Maine.

The Mercantile , built in 1916 is only one of of more than a dozen historic tall ships that call
Camden, Rockport and Rockland Home.  Some of these historic ships are 140 years old.

You can help keep these historic treasures sailing and do something great for your self as well.
Plan to spend your vacation on one of these historic boats. They offer 3-6 night trips and are a great
value as everything is included in the price of the trip.  For more information:

The MaineSail Magazine is sponsoring The Ultimate Tall Ship Photo Safari.
Spend six days on the Victory Chimes, built in 1900.

Week long photo workshop with Maine Author and Photographer Doug Mills.
This will be the trip of a lifetime!
